Pub Quiz announcement
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Nuts,
Of course you all noted in your agenda with big markers, Saturday the 13th of February, the date for the amazing NUTS Pub-quiz.
I'm happy to finally inform you with the location of this spectacular event.
So make a team of five and join us at caf? De Pleidooi, Oudebrugsteeg 8 (on the Wallen next to Damrak).
We will assemble here at 21.30 and want to get the quiz started right away, so be on time!

Indoor Competition Day 3
Today we played indoor competition in Amsterdam -- how convenient our own hall :) Talking about your battlezone, wooo!
The first game was against our friends from Crunch. Beautfully floating outdoor passes and complete lack of structure were the main characteristics of this game, as many players on both teams were mainly outdoor players (this includes myself).. We won 9-7.
Second game was against the young team of UFO. They put a zone on us. We successfully worked through it with give-n-go's. We put our mega master Tetris zone on them, and were sometimes succesful. The game ended in a tie 6-6.
Third game was against Vertigo. We started out strong and had a lead of about 5 points.. Then we lost focus and Vertigo came back to take the victory.. 11-8.
Fourth game.. against the BFrisbee2's. Hm, we tried a bunch of things, including our mega sword WiFi Tetris zone, but were quite unsuccessful. They took a 4 point lead. We managed to come back in the very end, but ran out of time to take the victory.. 10-9 to BF2's.
Curiously, the outcomes of all games today were somewhat contradicting and crazy. I wasn't sure who was degrading and upgrading. So I have been a real nerd and looked it up (don't shoot me if I messed up the calculations): UFO and NUTS were tied at the bottom, and judging by the difference in total scored points, NUTS stays in 5th division and UFO degrades. What a day!
Oh and last but not least...

UUT in Amsterdam!
To all ultimate lovin' students in Europe:
I am happy to announce that the University Ultimate Tournament will be back in business this year! Previous editions were successfully hosted by ULB from Brussels, but due to local difficulties, they passed the honor on to us. This year's edition will be hosted by the NUTS from Amsterdam. We hope to welcome 16-20 teams from all over Europe.
