Competition

What is the competition?

The NFB (Nederlandse Frisbee Bond) organizes three annual national leagues for teams from all over the country: indoor in the winter, outdoor in the spring and mixed-outdoor in the fall. The leagues have several divisions, so teams from all levels can participate and play against teams from their own level within their division.

The indoor league generally runs from November to February, outdoor from April to June, mixed-outdoor from September to October. During these periods, the teams of each division play each other every few weeks, 3-4 game days in total (always on Sunday). Throughout the leagues, teams can demote to a lower division or promote to a higher division.

The league and the NUTS

Generally, the NUTS are represented in each league. We believe that the Dutch league is a good way to play on a regular basis with your teammates and learn a lot. In the spring of 2009, we promoted from 5th to 3rd division. In the mixed competition this fall, we promoted from 3rd to 2nd division. This winter we hope to kick ass in the indoor competition!
